About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) with extensive experience in the treatment of addiction, eating problems and co-occurring disorders (psychiatric & biomedical).

In addition to working as a clinician, for 20 years I have been teaching sociology and social work in higher education at colleges and universities at both undergraduate and graduate level. Over the last several years, I have additionally been training clinicians working toward licensure in addiction counseling.

My expertise is utilized in mental health and substance abuse in care management with a national health insurance administrator, and I provide services (DUI/PTI) for criminal justice systems within six states including NJ, NY, CT, PA, DE, and FL.

As a recognized expert in my field, I have had my work published in professional journals, served as keynote speaker at national conferences on weight loss surgery, and have appeared as guest expert on local television and a radio talk shows.

I completed my post-graduate education at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service where I currently serve as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer and Field Faculty Advisor.
